COURSE OBJECTIVES


Communication, Evaluation, Contamination, Control, Application of Disinfectants, Post Remediation

 

This CE Seminar covers the topic of What is Mold describing the How’s and Whys. This investigative course will discuss the growth of Molds and the Health effects of mold around us.


We will discuss the various testing methods and what do samples really do, what is our goal and what is the value of clearance testing.
As we move thru section three discussions will discuss the regulations and were they come from, IICRC S520 & New York City Guidelines.
The topic of proper remediation comes in to play with detailed instruction on proper remediation steps, the value of containment, negative pressure and of course cross-contamination.


This course is an eye opener especially to agents and adjusters who are constantly running into barriers or are being asked to answer questions on microbial contamination.

 

This is a valuable seminar in today’s water damage restoration.

 

 

TRAINER BIO

 

Pat Dooley has been in the Restoration Industry since 1977. During this time Pat successfully ran eight Restoration firms and a Carpet Cleaning Company in British Columbia Canada. In 1999 Pat sold his businesses and joined Dri-Eaz Products as an IICRC Instructor founding what is known today as the Applied Structural Drying Course. He not only created the curriculum, but also wrote and taught the very first ASD Course. Pat has been a keynote speaker at numerous industry functions and has proven to be a leader in the industry.
